Accreditation signifies that students may be assured that the school has been assessed and accepted by Oriental Medicine professionals and that the acupuncture program is considered valuable to others in the field of acupuncture and Oriental medicines.

The Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), serving to promote excellence in acupuncture and Oriental medicine education, is the only accrediting organization acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit master’s degree level programs in the profession.
